Where it sits in the story

CHAMPAGNE is a HankyCode Original — a word the 1970s code never had. In the left pocket, vintage gold says champagne buyer; in the right, champagne receiver. Written in 2026 on the same grammar the leather bars built, so a new identity can be worn the way the old ones were.
