Who is responsible

The data controller is HankyFamily (Hanky Family Studio), the trading name of Fearnall Holdings Ltd (company no. 17166926), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@hankyfamily.com.

What we collect, and why

• The Family. Your email address and, if you add one, one line about what it’s for. Used to send drop notices and Register updates. Lawful basis: consent. Kept until you unsubscribe (one tap) or ask us to delete it.
• Drop alerts. Your email and the code you chose. One message, 48 hours before that drop. Deleted when the drop closes unless you are in the Family.
• Orders. What you bought, when, and the number issued — recorded in the Register without your name. Your payment details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us. Order records are kept for six years for tax law.
• The swatch and the quiz run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us.

Cookies and storage

This site sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising pixels and loads nothing from third-party servers — the typefaces are served from our own domain. The archive remembers for the length of your visit that you confirmed you are over 18 (session storage). Forms are handled by our hosting provider, Netlify, whose spam protection may set a functional cookie. That is all.

Children

hankyfamily.com is written to be safe for anyone exploring identity, including under-18s, and follows the ICO Children’s Code: no profiling, no nudges, no data beyond what a form needs. Buying, the Family and the archive are for adults only.

Your rights

You can ask for what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted, by emailing hello@hankyfamily.com. You can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Who we share with

Our hosting provider (Netlify), our email provider, and our payment provider — each only what it needs. Never sold, never shared for marketing.
