The Print is made to order and can only be returned if faulty or damaged, in which case it is replaced. Editions can be returned within 14 days of delivery under UK distance-selling rules.

The Edition escalator

Priced in public, in advance, and verifiable in the Register as it happens — not a countdown, a fact. Numbers 1–10: £300. Numbers 11–20: £400. Numbers 21–25: £500. The price rises as the piece proves itself; the earliest numbers are the cheapest, not the rarest.

Every code is two pockets. The pair is both: postcard is single-side only (it's the impulse buy), Print pair £90, Edition pair from £600 (both sides at the opening band).

The Masters — above the Edition, not for sale

One piece per historical code, 175 ever. The studio doesn't sell them — it lends them, to museums, galleries, archives and academic institutions, building a documented exhibition history one loan at a time. Read how the loan programme works →

What proves it

The Edition carries the studio's blind stamp — a physical, tamper-evident mark — but no signature. The postcard and the Print carry neither; the postcard is ephemera, the Print is made and posted by Prodigi, so a Print's proof is the Register. Every Print and Edition is entered there with its number, its date and the SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact file it was made from. Once a day the whole Register is fingerprinted and that fingerprint is written into the Bitcoin blockchain with OpenTimestamps: free, open, no wallet, nothing to buy. The proof file sits at /register/anchor.txt, anyone can verify it, and it means the record cannot be quietly changed afterwards — by anyone, including us.

Questions people ask

Where does the money go?: Straight to the studio. Postcards and Prints are made and posted by Prodigi on order; Editions are printed and shipped after the drop closes, so every number is final before ink touches paper.
Can I return a Print?: The Print is a physical object, made to order — it isn't stock, so it can only be returned if it arrives faulty or damaged; tell us and we replace it. Editions can be returned within 14 days of delivery, unopened, under the usual UK distance-selling rules; see Terms. Postcards, once posted, can't be recalled.

Do you sell the 1970s codes?: Yes — the historical codes are the heart of the collection, and only they can become an Edition. As one-of-one Masters they aren't sold at all right now — they're lent for exhibition. See how that works.
