This site and the prints on it are sold by Fearnall Holdings Ltd (company no. 17166926), trading as HankyFamily, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

You must be 18 or over to buy. The archive is for adults only.
What you are buying
The postcard is a real card, printed and posted to the address you give, unsigned and unnumbered — ephemera, not an editioned work. The Print is a giclée A3 on Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm, unsigned, personalised with your name and its reference and number in the margin, made to order by Prodigi (edition of 150 per code and side). The Edition is a numbered giclée A3 print (edition of 25 per code and side), drawn only from the 175 historical codes, sold only to members of the Family during a dated drop window of 21 days, printed after the window closes and shipped flat. Every Print and Edition number is recorded in the public Register at hankyfamily.com/register/. Numbers are issued in order of purchase and cannot be chosen.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment provider; we never see or store card details.
Delivery
Postcards and Prints: made to order and posted by our print partner Prodigi; typical dispatch within 7 working days of order, tracked for the Print. Editions: within 28 days of the drop closing, tracked. International buyers are responsible for any import duty.
Cancellation and returns
The postcard and the Print are made to order and personalised with your name and number in the margin — under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 28(1)(b), personalised goods made to your specification are excluded from the standard 14-day right to cancel, and by ordering you acknowledge this. A faulty or damaged item is replaced or refunded on request. Editions may be cancelled within 14 days of delivery for a full refund provided the print is returned unmarked in its packaging; return postage is the buyer’s. Nothing here affects your statutory rights. This section states our policy; it is not legal advice, and if you have a specific dispute we'd rather just sort it out — email us.
Copyright and the mark
Every print is © HankyFamily. A postcard, Print or Edition gives you the right to display the work privately. It does not transfer copyright or permit resale or reproduction of the image. HANKY FAMILY® is a registered trade mark (UK00004351805). The historical codes belong to the communities that built them; we make no claim on them.
The Masters
The Masters — one-of-one pieces drawn from The 175 — are not currently for sale. They are lent to museums, galleries, archives and academic institutions under a separate loan agreement; see The Masters. Nothing in this page constitutes an offer to sell one.
The Family
Membership is free and by email. We may close, pause or change the Family at any time. The referral rule (bring one person, you both open the next drop 48 hours earlier) applies while it is published on the site.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Complaints to hello@hankyfamily.com first; we answer within five working days.
